Forgiveness and the unforgivable sin — 1 Comment

  1. If you refuse to forgive and then do forgive the person, then your debt of unforgiveness is paid. Doesn’t blaspheming the Holy Spirit simple mean, refusing to acknowledge the Holy Spirit as being from God? Once you do that God never gives you the chance to repent of it. All other sin can be repented, including unforgiveness. That’s what is meant when they say, “Most of them reassure people that if they fear they have committed it, it’s a good sign they haven’t.” Because once you blaspheme the Holy Spirit you have no more interest in salvation or God or His place in your life. He’s Gone.

Just another viewpoint. (a frightening one)
